...The Freedom, The Experience...

CREAMFIELDS and more from the Playboy Mansion

What a change, almost a week off. Relaxing time. Spend many days with the guests from the hostel and joined them with the activities. Weather is shit in Melbourne, so what do you do then? Going out and party!

Wednesday was Rocknight at the hostel and that was hilarious. Airguitar competitions and more of that stuff. Lots of Jagermeisters at the office andsometimes you find snakes at the office :-) Thursday Molly, Nicola, Jay, Gemma, Katherine and me went to the Ben Shermans Big British Bandnight in The Corner in Richmond. Well, no British bands but some depressing weird ones hahaa, There was a good one but only at the end. Friday was a small citytour with the guests, this time we went with a small group to Brunswick. A nice area with trendy shops, weird bookstores and cool bars. Tasteful pizza's at Bimbo's for just 4 dollars! In the night the hostel turned into a high school, a big group of 16 year old kids stay there for the whole weekend, funny to mix them with the backpackers... I took a group of backpackers to the live gigs in the Espy. Not so good, but the whole St. Kilda area was a little bit dead because of the cold and rainy weather. So I have enough energy for?

Whooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooohohh! CREAMFIELDS!!! The big festival, weather changed into a beautiful sunshine, 22 degrees. Just bought tickets for 80 dollars at Gumtree instead of paying to official 107 dollars. Alex and Eleanore were still sleepy after last night. So I already started with a bottle of cheap Prosecco from the Aldi :-) It was time to go, Sara and Jill were coming later today. First a pitstop at Lord of the Fries for a 'Patatje Oorlog', everyone asked for it after they tasted it. Good, everyone should try this Dutch snack. We arrived at Showgrounds, a racecourse. What a huge area, 5 tents with house, techno, techhouse, trance and more. Many Dutch dj's. Surprise to see Maria again. And met some people that recognised me from the hottubpictures from Queensday hahahaaaa. The party...it was fanfuckintastic! But why do the Ozzies have such stupid policies?! I was not allowed to buy drinks today. Why? Because I was wearing a singlet, whahahahhahahaaaa! You gotta be serious?! So the security guy showed me their policies on paper, it realy said 'No Singlet Policy'. Well that's gonna be a hard day with all these guys wearing singlets in the burning sun. So veryone else bought the ciders for me. The music was shit everywere at some point and then...the Acid Jacks in the Outrage warehouse...WTF! These guys were good, the whole wahrehouse was loaded and bursting out with energy. Followed by MSTRKRFT, it was sooooo fuckin good! Back to Mainstage for the last bit of Bingoplayers and the start of Bloody Beetroots. What do I need to say? The were sick! These guys know how to rock the party. We were there in the middle of the moshpit, jumping around. Different styles of music (metal and techno) combined. They were the absolute highlight of today. Alex how could you walk around in your jacket all day!? The last part of the festival was good old Dave Clarke. No sign of Sara and Jill. It seems that they only experienced one hour of the festival, it's a shame girls...

Time to go back to the shared house or should I say Playboy Mansion? When we entered the house there were around 40 - 50 people, completely drunk and partying. Nobody slept in his own room tonight, so this is what they mean with 'shared' house :-) Only a few ones made it to the club. Yeah it's good old Inkerman style again, the whole weekend is one big crazy party on Inkerman...
