WTF?! AN EPIC LAST WEEK IN MELBOURNE
Yes! It is over, done, finito...no more 'Good morning, housekeeping', finding naked girls in the bedrooms and more, cleaning beds, bins and toilets. Yesterday was my last day at work. And it was time to say goodbye to everyone. Sometimes travelling is hard, I spend almost 4 months in Melbourne, lived together with a group of fantastic guys and girls in the ghetto shared house. It was a time I will never forget. Last month I was sleeping on the couch every day, enjoying everything that happened in the house. I was always there, just saving my money. Goodbye guys I WILL FUCKIN MISS YOU!!!
And also Habitat, the place where I worked for so many hours. I will also miss the atmosphere. It definitely is one of the best hostels in Australia. Always something going on, good music and performances, too many Germans that think they will win the World cup HAHAHAA NOT!, so many cool long-term stayers and free food and booze most of the time.
I took as much out of it as possible in my last week. Party hard, dinners at the Shanghai Dumpling Restaurant. Getting drunk with hidden bottles under the table (it's BYO but you normally have to pay for every bottle). And try the pumpkin cakes! Mwahaahhaaaa delicious. I have seen all these local bars like Rooftop, Carlton Club (with all the dead animals inside) and more. All the backpackers now know me as Mr. Cocktail, every day at 4pm just after finishing work, I started making rum cocktails with Stefan's' ice crusher. And there were the nightly cooking classes from Mohan, making Indian curry.
There also was this Dutch chick walking into our 'beautiful' mansion on Inkerman the day Holland played against Brazil. Should I say love at 2nd sight? She was staying at Habitat and we went to see the match in the Holland Soccer House. Bet; If Holland wins, I will takes off my pants and dance around in my orange undies...I DID! Well, fuck the rules, it's my last week so what? No things going on with guests? Hahahaaa. But maybe it's time for a hairdresser, kissing a girl whose hair is shorter than mine is kind of strange :-) The moments I will remember; our intimate romantic time between the mating penguins in the middle of the night whahahaaa. Damn, we had an amazing week, although it was hard sometimes to combine it with our other activities, study and work. We watched the match against Uruguay again at the HSH. Wiet, my Belgian friend from GOR part II was also there to support Holland at 4:30 in the morning. Kroketten, beer and good company. VIVA HOLLANDIA! Saskia, it was an interesting character, finally someone that could handle me, looked sexy and was funny. Maybe 2 see her again one day, but our plans are just too different for the next 10 months. And travelling, you meet amazing persons sometimes but life goes on when you split up again.
Everyone > Thanks for one of the best weeks in Melbourne!!! All me funny colleagues, the German community at Habitat, my fellow gangsters at Inkerman St 171...I can only think about the good memories!Reacties
