...The Freedom, The Experience...

KOH PHA-NGAN - KOH TAO, tired of searching for new places

Taxi to Thong Sala pier. Raining again today. 3 boats leaving to Koh Tao. On the boat the sun started to shine. We had the nicest spot. Arrived after 1,5 hour on Koh Tao. We just walked to the town and had some nice lunch at Cafe del Sol. There we checked the internet for a good guesthouse. We stayed at our first option Mr. J's. Not special but okay for 500 Bath a night. Rain started again so only option is sleeping :-( In the evening going out in Sairee Village, too much pizza. And some time at Lotus Bar.

KOH PHA-NGAN, Afterparty of Fullmoon

All the Dutch and English friends are leaving today :-( Karien and I decided to stay another day, but now at Coral Bungalow. Just for a relaxing day and afterparty. The afterparty on the beach was so nice. Not that many people, but a real good vibe. Dancing, sheesha's, good fireshows, cheap buckets (half the price of Full Moon) and so on...

Ended up at the poolparty, but this time it sucked big time! No partypeople and lot's of rain. But who cares, the afterparty in Haad Rin was perfect for a closing party.

KOH PHA-NGAN, Fucking wicked Fullmoon Party!

This is it, D-DAY. Lot's of heavy rainstorms in the morning, the beach was not there anymore. Again sleeping all day. In the evening it took ages to get everybody to the Fullmoonparty. Everybody was mixing buckets on the street, getting bodypainted etc. At 24:00 we finally started the real party! Flip flops off and dancing in the sand. No rain and we could see the full moon. Big beachparty with 8.000 painted, drunken, and some drugged freaks. We had a wicked time. Some old travelfriends just joined us from Koh Samui. Rachel had an injury on her feet so she needed a doctor and went back to the bungalow. More people got lost in the crowd. Karien and me kept on partying. Even climbed in the stagetowers with fire and danced in it.

Fucking good buckets, but not too much. So funny to see all those people at the end. We got back at 05:00 but couldn't get asleep because injured Rachel slept in our bungalow. No worries Rachel, you needed it ;-) Thanks for all the fun!

Fullmoon Party is crazy. But we Dutch know how to party, so don't expect too much :-)

KOH PHA-NGAN, pre-party and amazing special shakes

Everybody stayed in bed for a long time. Still recovering from the wicked poolparty. And because of the rain, there was nothing to do. In the evening we all went out with the English. Mark told us about Mushroom Mountain... Just go to the end of Haad Rin Beach en walk into one of the bars on the mountain (Mountain Bar, Mountain Mellow Bar). Ask for the special shakes or just follow the signs. You pay around 500 Bath for a mushroomshake. And these ones really work! Damn! After picking up Karien, we had a great night with the English. In the crowd everybody got lost. Big party'sat a the beachbars. The music is same same but okay. Lot's of drunk people already. Just jopined the nightwalks on the beach and in the streets of the town. I tried to take a swim at night, but it was freezing. I had such a good partyynight, just arrived at the bungalow at 13:00 the next day. Mushroomshakes rule!

KOH SAMUI - KOH PHA-NGAN, ready to party?!

Marjolein, Chantal, the English 'couples' and me, took a loaded ferry to Koh Pha-Ngan. The boat is filled to the roof with backpacks and suitcases. Everybody is ready for Fullmoon!!! The trip took just 45 minutes. Finally the rain stopped after lot's of heavy showers in the morning.

Arrived at the pier, we had to pay 100 Bath each for a taxiride of 10 minutes. Well the following days we started bargaining again :-) We were not on a walking distance of Haad Nai town unfortunately. The bungalows were okay, still don't know why the staff gave me a Superman-blanket...

In the evening we had such a good Poolparty at Coralbungalows. ANd for those who joined me in the Poolparty in Nieuwegein this year back home...this one ended up a little bit better ;-) Dancing in the pool, floating buckets, fucking and drunk couples, even a dead shark that the Ozzies bought at the market. What a night... Lots of respect to my English buddies.

KOH SAMUI, motorbiking and happy mushroomshakes

Tried to rent a motorbike today but hard to find a place that still had some. Finally ended up in an alley with shemales, but got a cheap motorbike. Joined Mark, Rachael, Jody and Hayden to look for some nice beaches. We couldn't find any so they got back to the nice beach from the day before. Hayden ended up with his new Thai girlfriend and we had a good cheap dinner at a local restaurant. We went back to Chaweng Beach and this is a one-way road. With 3 motorbike we we driving in the wrong direction. All theThail people were shouting and screaming to us but we had lopts of fun with it. At the end the police also tried to chase us but they didn't get us.

I had another dinner with all the Dutch girls, I was still hungry after 3 meals. In the evening chilling on the beach. No alcohol today. But th3 people from Lucky Mother wanted top give some special Happy Mushroomshake. Annick and me joined in but is was tasting so bad. I had 2 more and nothing happened. The bartenders were surprised, but we Dutchies are used to these things :-)

After midnight we had our goodbye cocktail with Annick and Reiny, they are not joining us after tomorrow. Went to the same clubs again. I was irritated after being touched and chased by all this strange people so I got back to my bungalow.

KOH SAMUI, just party party party

Everything is in the laundry so I had to buy some new shorts for swimming. And my slippers died on Railay. Just shopped and got some good cheap stuff again. Took a swim and we met another Dutch girls, Annick. Funny partygirl, we will miss you at the Full Moon party Annick! ;-)

I wanted to to something active again, so runned the Chaweng beach 2 times. In the evening we went out with the English people and the Dutch partysquad. Had loads of fun at Arkbar Beach with the waterpipes. Afterwards the same places as yesterday, lots of fun! Part, party party! We ended up and order almost all chicken nuggets from McDonalds. Made some children happy while giving them to them. I got back to the bungalow when the sun was already up. So tomorrow have to relax maybe.

KRABI - KOH SAMUI

Last morning with my buddy Stuart. Had such a good breakfast with the girls from yesterday. R4eal Ciabatta with chicken satay and peanutsauce (hot!), bananapancakes with chocolate sauce and brownie cakes with vanilla ice and chocolatesauce... Can it get any better? Said goodbye to everyone, and my backback feld on the big desk with brochures at the hostel, all the stuff was on the street... Now I'm travelling alone again. Walking on my hikingshoes because my toes are not standing correctly anymore after the accident on Railay. The bus to Surat Thani was full with backpackers with a hangover. I met a Dutch girl Reiny, she was one of the normal people on the bus :-)

After a ferrytrip of 1,5 hour we arrived at Koh Samui. Taxi started with 400 Batrh ech and fiinally ended with 75 Bath each. This island is too easy :-) It was a really long drive to Chaweng Beach from the pier. We found the Lucky Mother guesthouse, Where Marjolein and Chantal stayed. Yes Lennaert, I met Marjolein in Thailand ;-) We ashared the bungalow, the guesthouse lokes like a little zoo, It's full with cats and small dogs. Cute, but very irritating in the morning. And don't spend money on those cute little kids trying to sell you anything. Kids playing games of 4-in-a-row and lot's of more. Why are all those people try to sell you something that you already have? If I'm eating an icecream, don't ask my oif I want some icecream dum ass...

Koh Samui is just like Salou, Kreta or Lloret de Mar. Just one big partyplace. First partries on the beach, met some cool Englishpeople. And some of them are gonna join us with the Full Moon party. When we went to the clubs and bars...it just felt like was 16 again hehee. But be aware of all the ladyboys and Thai girls. Didn't knew that so many young Western people enjoying the young cheap Thai girls.

What a night!
